Panda Bear in the wild

Panda bears are carnivores.

In the wild, a panda’s diet is made up of 99% bamboo.
In the wild they will occasionally eat different types of grases and rodents.
In captivity Pandas wil diet on bamboo, of course, and sugar cane.
They also eat a special high-protein biscuit as well as fruits such as apples.
They are also fed veggies such as carrots and sweet potatoes.
Panda bears, as you can see, have more variety to eat in captivity, because if it were up to them, they would just eat bamboo all the time.
